Lily laughed and leaned forwards and flicked her wings out to catch the breeze around her ,"lily, lily forest" she said with a smile and dipped her head and then looked through the trees and smiled to herself and then looked back at her new friend ,she'd need to stay on the ground for a little while now, maybe she would be able to take off later in the day or before she went for supplies when they had camped ,"we're walking this way' she said with a smile and started towards the humans camp

Espri watch the girl flick her wings out- they were beautiful. "You can fly if you want to," she said when she saw the girl look back. "It won't be a problem for me to keep up." She held up one of her four white paws. "I'm much quicker than you'd think." She smirked, then looked in the direction Lily was indicating. She'd never been that way before. A new friend and a chance to explore. How wonderful!

Lily gave a small smile and shook herself ,she wasn't going to race just after meeting someone. She nodded her head and then walked back to the oak tree and looked around and then jumped into it's branches and dig her clawed hands In to the bark and pulled herself up and used her feet to climb to the top of the tree and then pushed herself out onto the top most branch and walked along it and it bowed below her and began to dip under her weight and she felt it lower and then the crack split through the air and she smiled and pushed up and sprang up In to the air

Espri's eyes followed Lily's progress from the tree to the air. When she took off it was amazing. Espri smiled, and quickly streatched her white tiger legs. Cracking her neck, she says to herself, "Showtime." With a huge burst of seep, she was off, keeping up effortlessly with the bird-girl. She powerful legs kept rythem with her heart, her massive paws pounded the earth. She looked up to see the trees flying by overhead, the bird girl high above her. It was increadable.

Lily dropped towards the ground and then laughed and beat her wings down hard once and shot up into the sky again, she dropped right to the tops of the trees and then beat her wings again and shot up and twisted in the air with another laugh, she could see the streak of White that was espri below her and waved one hand and then tipped herself down and shot through the branches of the trees, weaving between them and using her arms and legs to speed herself up as she went

Espri saw Lily swoop down and begin to pick up speed. Keep the girl in the corner of her eye, she began to lay on the speed, her powerful legs streatching furthur. She moved faster, keeping just ahead of the girl. She laughed out of pure joy-she hadn't felt this happy in a long time. Going as fast as she could, she darted around trees, shrubs, rocks and other obsticles on the forest floor. Still facing forward, she called back to Lily, "How much longer until we get there?"

Lily looked down and then twisted to a side and then pulled up and let herself drop down onto the top of a oak tree and leaned forwards and gripped the branch with her hands and looked down, she could see the White flick of her freind below her and smiled and then looked around ,she could see smoke rising up in the distance and that meant that they were getting close to the humans camp ,"we're close!" she called down to her freind

Espri slowed to listen to her friend. "Where exactly are we going?" She asked. "The halfling camp?" She started walking again, this time slowly. She was curious of where they were headed. She'd never been to this part of the isles, and wondered what could possibly lie ahead for the odd pair. "I've never been here before," she called to Lily. "This is my first time to the isles and to this part of them." She continued walking, keeping Lily in her sight.

Lily shook her head high in the tree ,"we need to stock up, then we'll head back over the sea to the forest tribe ,but we need to stop at the human camp, I'll go in when night falls and get what we need ,you'll need to find us both somewhere to hide while I'm in there" she said and then sprang forwards off the tree branch and dropped down through the branch of the trees around her and then flicked her hand out and pulled herself on to one right beside her freind ,"you'd get in trouble if you went in like that, at least I can hide my wings away" she said with a smile

Espri stopped immediatly. "H-human?" She said. "I'm sorry." She started backing away. "I can't go with you." She'd had many bad experiences with humans, she feared them. They thought her a ghost, and evil spirit. They hunted her, attacked her. But that wasn't what scared her. When she would be attacked, her tiger instincts immediatly kicked in. She'd attack right back, sharp claws flashing. She'd always kill them. Only after they were dead would she realize what she did. "I can't go there," she said strictly.

Lily held her hands out and lowered her voice ,"I know, trust me I know, that's why I need you to find a cave or somewhere where can can camp over night, away from the humans" she said in a part voice and then lifted her head and looked over towards the camp and nodded ,"I'm going in, I can almost hide my wings, if I go in at night then I should be safe ,you won't be joining me" she said with a nod and then looked back at her freind

Espri let out a sigh of releif. "Okay, you go. I know a good cave not far from here, I camped there last night." She turned to leave, then called over her shoulder "Just look for the fire, okay?" She turned and headed in the direction of the cave.
When she reached the cave, it was exactly as she left it the night before- even the little fire pit was still there. She reached into her pack and pulled out some kindeling and fire rocks. Once the fire was going she sat patiently and waited for Lily

Lily nodded to her freind and then waited for her to leave before climbing back up the tree and pushing off and flying over the tree tops until the smell of the smoke made her begin to cough and she had to land. She dropped down beside a stream and pulled her black jerkin out of her pack and took her willow bark from her belt and slid it under both her wings and then crosses it and pulled it tight and tied it round her chest and winced as she wanted to flex her dark wings out but couldn't

Espri tended the fire as she waited for Lily's reaturn. She felt bad that she had to leave, but after her previouse incidents with humans, she couldn't risk it. Why did she have to be diffrent? Why couldn't she just be a regular girl in a regular family? She wasn't even a regular halfling! At least Lily could hide her wings; there was no way Espri could hide her massive tiger half. She whipped her white, slender tail around so she could see it. "Why am I like this?" She asked herself.

Lily picked up her pack from the floor beside her and pulled it on her her arms and winced in pain as it crushed her wings against her but shook her head and started to walk, the trees thinned out within only a few moments and she found herself at the top of the humans camp. She paused and looked over her sholder to make sure as little of her feathers were showing as possible and then walked into the camp and towards the main fire pit to find someone to trade with
*my idea for you was you'd go hunting or foraging now while lilys away*
