1-1 with Jex and Nix

Lux narrowed his eyes at the old man. He was the tribe's Magikian, and was holding out a hand to Nix. When he looked closer, Lux could see he was smiling.
"What the Magikian doing?" he said to himself. Surely he saw something wrong? Unless he saw something different.
Jex limped a little closer, frowning, fear almost gone.

[Nix]

"come wolf child, we'll find you something" the old man said and the blonde toddler clapped his hands together on nixs back and she paused to think for a moment beiges nodding her head and walking towards the human. Ghost sniffed at the air before following his sister and the old human and he looked up at the human cub and found himself wondering what would ever happen if nix had cubs, would they have to live the two lives she had done or would she have to hide one of her sides and raise the cubs one way and one way only?

Jex wanted to follow the man and Nix but his leg was failing. He made to walk forward, just as his knee buckled. Luckily, Lux caught him before he could hit the ground.
Still hanging from Lux's hands by the ribs, he threw him a look of gratitude. "Where's he taking her?"
Above him, the boy's face was blank. "Don't know. Come on." He yanked Jex to his feet and they began to walk after the man.

[Nix]

Nix walked slowly after the man and seeing as he walked slowly to begin with they took an age to get to his tent, he held the door flap open for her and she looked up at him for a moment before ducking inside and the smell of her packs pupping dens hit her hard in the face. looking around she tried to see if this man had any of her packs pups but she saw no furs in the tent at all so walked in a little further as the toddler coughed at the overwhelming smell that swept over him

Now they'd gone into the tent, Lux straightened up.
"This is so confusing," he said. "It's like she's forgotten we're even here."
Jex frowned. Of course she hadn't forgotten them. Had she?
If he knew wolves correctly, an interesting scent was always a bright beacon to them. A long forgotten smell attracted a wolf like mackerel to a shiny shell.
"She hasn't," Jex muttered back, and they edged closer. But he was beginning to disbelieve himself.

[Nix]

Ghost walked in after his sister and then he sat down beside her as the old man remained by the door. "hurry up you three, Some of us have limited time before the spirits catch up with us" he called out and nix tilted her head to one side before shaking her head, jex and the twins must have followed her. She looked around the tent once more, she could smell the pups and the packs and almost hear the small yips of play fights and the splashing of pups in the ice pool. Sighing she lowered her head and rested it against her brothers warm White fur and listened to his heart beat while she waited on the humans to hurry up and follow their elder

*ummm... Pandia wasn't with them. you weren't controlling her so I couldn't take her with me.*

Jex and Lux looked at each other and continued on. The man's words rang in Jex's ears. Spirits. What did that mean?
If I could, I would hurry, he growled to himself, limping as fast as he could.
Lux was frowned. Jex seemed in a hurry. But why?

[Nix]

*I thought she was with you, never mind, I just couldn't really control kean (this guy), a toddler,ghost and pandia all at once*

Nix lifted her head again and she saw the man beside the door roll his eyes and then let the flap loose and walk in and sit across the fire from her ,"first thing first, my name is Kean, nice to meet you leader" he said with a smile and nix tilted her head to one side in confusion at his words. "you don't know yet and neither does everyone else but I was a child when it happened so I can remember it" he said cryptically and nix rolled her eyes and had up trying to work out what he was trying to tell her as she heard someone coming up to the tent outside

*OK, I'll control her temporarily and make her with us. render my previous note thingy pointless.*

Jex wasn't sure whether to go in. He wasn't sure if he even wanted to, but Lux had already gently pushed the flap slightly open.
"Do you want us to come in, Kean?" he was asking.
Jex just sighed and stood waiting.

[Nix]

Kean looked over at the door as the male twin walked in and he said nothing but waved a hand to the log nix was sitting on before looking back at nix again. "it was awful, it remember children going missing every night and woman waking up with claw-marks in the skin on their arms, no one was safe in the camp" he said in a small voice before looking at the fire, "I was one of the ones who saw the travellers go up to the mountains, a few of us were caught in the time stream and we were pulled forwards, it's why even now I'm so old" he said with a small chuckle

Time stream. Those two words rang in Jex's head as Lux helped him sit down on the log. How was that possible? Being pulled through time?
It seemed Lux and Pandia were thinking the same. "I don't remember anything," Lux murmured. "but I think I remember the claw-marks."

[Nix]

Kean shifted his head and looked down at the twins and his eyes softened ,"you two weren't born until afterwards, but as you know, we take all children who reach 5 summers to the clawed rock where the travellers defeated the mage and her plans to make sure they know of it and it can never happen again" he said in a soft voice before looking back at nix and then turning his his to jex. "but I can recognise it now, the same fears and worries, this is the time when she arose the first time to try and take them all" he said before looking at the fire ,"it seems she used the time steam to come here and take our children, but was defeated back in her time some how" he said in a smaller voice

Jex blinked, thinking about what the Magikian had said. It wasn't making much sense, but he understand some of it.
"So to be defeated, she would have to be pulled back into her own time?" he murmured, rather cluelessly. He had come to a clumsy conclusion from what he heard, but he may have been wrong.

[Nix]

Kean snapped his head up at the words spoken to him and he smiled ,"she came from a time when I was a child, her name was Elina and she wanted to make humans all powerful. Her only child died because her souls were weak and so she took the souls of a hunting dog and put them in a stray child, it of course grew to a second form and it's own father was forced to kill it, they thought if was a demon of course" he said and then he snapped his eyes up to the sky. "but some how she came forwards to this time and has been taking children and making a army of half human and half animal children" he said and then he snapped his head back to nix ,"but you already know that, after all, your father was one of them" he said and nix felt her wolven mind slip. "farn? You knew lila and farn?" she asked in a voice that sounded almost normal for her as kean gave a small smile
