1-1 with Jex and Nix

Jex's heart leapt. So she was alive. But he didn't know what to do. As a matter of a fact, he couldn't do anything anyway. The knife's blade was pressed against his neck so close he felt that if he even breathed, he'd die. Something warm trickled down his skin.
"Lux," said the female voice who had found him first. "You're hurting him. Any more blood lost from him, he'll be dead. We're supposed to bring them both back."
"Fine." The boy took his knife away a little, but only enough to stop it digging into Jex's neck. Jex frowned. That voice sounded... like his own.

[Nix]

The fingers brushed over nixs again and she felt hands on her shoulders ,"leader, you shouldn't trouble yourself with this" came the female voice again as nix felt the hands on her shoulder slip under her and pick her up. "I lead the tribe and so I decide what happens to drifters" came the soft voice again but it was stronger this time, powerful. "now pandia go and felt something for the girl to ease her pain" came the voice again and nix shook end head and she felt the hands on her shift as if the man was looking down at her ,"not girl, wolven" nix rasped and she felt the hands on her tighten for a moment before they relaxed. "if you say so" came the voice but now it sounded dry and a little off key

*yea, pandia is their daughter and jark is carrying nix now and will be healing her shortly, my plan is nix get wrapped up before jex is handed ghost and you both come into see her, good plan?*

*So would you like me to control Ghost while he gets given to Jex? Yeah, but don't forget that Jex is badly injured too...*

Jex could briefly see the knife being taken away from his throat. But one hand moved from his shoulder and under his arm. Roughly, Lux - he assumed it was - pulled him upwards again. Pain returned to his ribs and he stifled a cry.
"Come on, walk," came the voice. He seemed to notice Jex's eyes, shut with the pain as he bit down on a wince.
Jex felt his left arm being draped around this new boy's shoulders, allowing him to take his bad leg off the floor. For a moment, Jex began to like Lux.

[Nix]

*we can both control ghost, I'll have jark and pandia for now and you have lux, we'll share ghost *

Nix felt the hands holding her grow tighter as she was walked in to a tent, she heard the flaps of the skin hide covering it and she then felt herself being dropped on to a soft mattress of moss and herbs and she felt her head go a little dizzy ,"the herbs will make the Stitches less painful ,your wolf and freind will be brought in once you all have new clothes and your wolf has paw pads" came the leaders voice again and nix clicked her tongue. it was the only way she had of telling him that understood what he had said ,"I'll whip the blood from your face and head wound before sealing your side" he said and nix nodded her head a little

*cool I won't control him that much though. he's your charrie after all. I love teh name Ghost. :3*

"Lux," came the other female voice again. "Take him into my tent. We can see to his wounds there."
Lux nodded, then glanced down at this new boy. That hair... those eyes... had he seen them before. He shook his head. No. It's just coincidence. He could see him faltering. He looked like he was about to pass out.
Jex felt one of Lux's hands support his chest. As he looked up, he could see a white wolf walking towards him. Blearily, he reached a hand down and stroked Ghost's ears. He was rewarded with a lick and Ghost leaning against him, supporting him.
"He seems to like you," said the girl. Jex heard the smile in her voice. "Unlike me."

[Nix]

Nix felt something soft and damp against her face and then someone held the back of her head as they cleaned her face and she almost found herself wanting to bite down on the rag as it cross her face and pull but this wasnt the time to play. the rag was taken away and nix forced her eyes open and then winced at the brightness of the tent and saw a tall and powerful looking mad standing with his back to her, "ill leave my neice to care for you now, i have things that need doing" he said with out looking at her as a girl with red messy hair like nix's walked in to the tent

*i have her now, and you have him, this gives us bonding time and then we can call meet *

Lux set Jex down on a soft mat made of a hide he couldn't identify. Shadow and Sorrel crept from his hood and curled up at his head, while Ghost came and sat beside him.
"Hold still," said the girl. Jex shut his eyes, not planning on moving anyway. At first, the poultice she put on his leg stang. She had to take out a piece of stone caught in the wound, and that hurt so bad his bit his lip till it bled. Lux saw to his arms and cheek. Afterwards, he helped him sit up, where his leg was neatly bandaged.
"I'll leave you now," the girl said, doing as she'd said she would.

[Nix]

The red head looked at nix for a moment and then dipped her head as the lader walked past her and out of the tent before looking back at nix again, "your hair looks just like mine wolf child" she said in a hiss of a voice and nix nodded her head. This was the girl who threatened to cut her fingers and told her to move away from her brother, "but you have paler eyes than me, still green but pale green" nix noted as the girl walked over with a bowl in one hand and a needle in the other and she looked up at nix for a moment before shaking her head and muttering to herself so quietly that nix didnt ctach her words

Jex watched as Lux took his wrist in a hand, then begin to bind it with bandages. He remained silent, as he did the same to the other arm.
"Do you feel sick?" Lux asked all of a sudden.
Jex frowned. "No." But he was shaking. As he carefully pulled his boot back on, Ghost came and sat up on the mat with him, leaning companionably against him. Jex smiled weakly and scratched him behind the ear.
Meanwhile, Lux was looking him up and down. "We have the same hair. Brown. And your eyes... they're like mine too." They stared at each other, the sea blue gazes locking.

[Nix]

Nix's head was beginning to feel heavy from the smell of herbs in the room and she wondered why the other red head didnt feel the same but shurgged the question off for a more important one, "can i ask your name?" she said and the red head lifted her head from the needle and looked nix over before nodding. "pandia, my mother named me it before the hunting trip, they went away when i and my brother were 10 summers, they havent come back since, we're both 14 now" she said before picking the needle up and looking at its end, "now shh, i need to focus" she said as she bent over nixs side

Jex winced as Lux accidentally tugged his wrist too hard. After an apology, the boy sat down on the mat. "What's your name?"
"Jex," he replied, rubbing his bandaged arm.
"Jex. Interesting. I'm Lux. My father liked that name. He gave it to me because -" he paused, trying to remember. Then he shook his head. "I don't remember. But he's gone now. Him and my mother left when me and my sister were 10 and we haven't seen them come back. We're 14, so we can only assume they're dead."

Nix turned her head away from the girl name pandia as she felt a pinch of her skin being tugged at and she winced before focusing her mind on other things. "your name sounds nice, I've always wanted to name my own daughter panada but hearing your name I think I prefer that" she said ,trying to make conversation and she heard the girl sniff but didn't turn to look. "my mother was the same, she planned on naming me something else but meet a girl when she was about 16 summers who's name she loved more so named me that" she said and nix heard her sniff again

For a moment, Jex thought about that. He knew what it was like to lose his parents. He could empathise with Lux. Every time he though about it, he could feel his Fa's knife cut his arm again, and he imagined the arrows flying towards him. Shaking his head, he looked at the boy.
"Lux... it's a nice name."
The boy smiled, as if in shyness. "Thankyou." He reached behind him and pulled out a waterskin. "Have a drink. You'll need it."

[Nix]

Nix kept her head turned away from the girl and she heard her stop sniffing after a few moments, when she spoke again her voice was softer, "thanks for turning away" she said simply. Nix smiled even thourhg she knew it couldnt be seen, "i always like it when people do it for me so i thought you would too, you remind me of myself alot" she said in a rather cheerful voice before she felt a tug on her side and winced, "sorry, but its done now" came pandias voice and nix smiled and turned back to face her, "thanks" she said with a smile

Jex drank from the waterskin, and as he did so, he noticed Lux's face. Hurt. He put the waterskin down, and gave him a gentle nudge. The same kind his father always gave him.
"I know what it's like. Loosing your parents." Lux and Jex shared a weak smile.
"Come on," Lux said, offering Jex a hand. "I'll take you to see your friend." Jex nodded and took the hand, his leg feeling odd and stiff, like it wasn't his own. The wound must have been bone-deep. He could hardly support himself, even with one arm draped around Lux's neck and Lux holding him by the chest. Luckily, Ghost came to his aid, tail wagging, holding him up from the other side.
