Clan - Salmon
Appearance - Tall, about 5'11", with a slim build. Pale skin tone, gets sun burnt very easily. Spiky, vivid orangeish-redish hair, looks kind of like fire itself. Deep brown eyes, with a sharp face. For clothing, he typically wears a loose, short-sleeved deerskin jerkin tied with a sinew belt. He also wears equally loose leggings, also of deerskin. Knee high boots meet the leggings, and are once more made of deerskin. The boots are laced with thin sinew. Salmon skin strip tied around neck for clan skin.
Personality - For a fire NF, he's unusually peaceful. His mother raised him to be kind, but he angers easily. He's always been different than the other boys in his clan, and he's always been teased by his lack of "toughness." He gets along with the women of the village better. He hates fighting, and isn't a skilled hunter. He's usually left in the village when hunting parties go. He doesn't mind though- he prefers staying and helping. He's a likable boy and a very pleasant conversationalist.
Weapons - Not many, just a stone knife and his fire.
Other equipment - Deerskin pack containing usual supplies: food, water, clothes, etc. Deerskin sleeping sack tied to the bottom.
Animal companion - None
History - Was born when a sickness was plaguing his clan. His father had died of it shortly before he came. As a newborn, he was very weak. His mother feared for him, she didn't want him to die and leave her alone. She took him to their mage, asking him if there was anything he could do. He told her of the shortage of herbs and other healing supplies due to the epidemic. But there was another option. Combine his soul with that of something strong. They chose fire, and combined. Gryph grew healthier, but his mother was overprotective. As a child, she always kept him in her sight, wanting nothing to happen to him. She did her best to keep him healthy and happy. As he grew older, she gave him a little more Independence, realizing her little boy was growing up.
RP sample ---> The small stone hit Gryph in the shoulder. He wished the boys would stop picking on him. Yes, he understood he was different, he even knew why. Another stone, this time on the back of his neck. So frustrating! These boys were persistent, they wanted him to get angry. Gryph took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. Don't give them what they want, they'll eventually get bored. Thats what his mother always said. Another stone. This was beginning to get tedious. He just wished they would stop! He didn't dare turn around, though, that would show them that he was annoyed. He just focused on what he was doing- making a fish trap. Yet another stone. That was it. That pushed him over the edge.
