Lily pulled her warm jerkin closer over her body but way time she beat down her jet black wings it was pulled away from her and she would shiver again. She knew there were shadow hunters up in the caves in these mountains, she didn't know where and she didn't know why they were there either but the humans had spoke of shadows that stole children and that stole food and hurt mates and killed babies. And no one else but shadow hunters would do that, lily knew that much for sure.
Lily herself was hovering in the blizzard over the side of a cliff, her 3 metre long crow like wings were keeping her airborn and her red hair was wrapping itself around her face but she needed to find somewhere to land now or she would freeze in the air
