The Usual....in the lives of the Ukario Siblings
Her sister was most definitely going to kill their half-brother. "You." Rina breathed the word with anger and irritation, pointing at Ryosis with a silent snarl.
Ruka had woken up to find that someone had gotten into the oats and decided to eat the last bit for breakfast. And now that someone was being confronted by a very angry wolf girl who wanted her precious oats back.
"I thought you didn't even LIKE sweet things!!" Rina snarled, mentioning the sugar he'd added and putting him in a tight headlock.
"Ow!" he complained, just managing to keep the milk from splashing over the side of the carved, wooden bowl.
Now what she said wasn't true, Ruka mused. Ryosis did like sweets. Though the crafty red-head had told them before that he did not. Ruka guessed only because he didn't want Rina to find his stash of sugar cane. She would take it for herself or demand to have a share. Ruka giggled at this thought.
Ryosis looked up at Rina to see her scowling. Really now...he should be the one scowling, but seeing his half-sister in red hot anger was fun. And he was just a bit of a masochist.
He took another bite. She sputtered, raven locks framing her pale face as she leaned down to get a better grip on his neck. "I cannot believe you just-!"
No, no...he was a masochist.
Rina began rambling, going on and on about how in the past few months, he'd sworn up and down that he'd never touch another sweet so long as he lived (something Ruka made that was VERY sweet had made his tooth hurt). Though that had been a lie.
He just wanted to keep his half-sister from getting into his stash of sugar cane he had hidden...somewhere. Where was it again? His eyes drifted as he searched to try and remember where he'd put the darn plants.
"Are you even listening to me?!" Rina screeched, shaking him roughly with the arm that she still had clamped around his slender neck (which was now being strangled mind you) and dropping the stick that she always liked to hit him with.
Ruka looked on in amusement, preferring not to join in on the usual things that happened around here.
"Stop eating all my oats!!" her twin was furious and flustered.
Ryosis took another bite, but the quickly soggying cereal wasn't all that appealing anymore.
With a huff of finality, Rina let him go. "Fine," she growled. "I'll just go eat some jerky." she placed her hands on her hips and turned away.
Before she could get to the pouch, however, Ryosis had dropped the ruined bowl of oats and grabbed the jerky, leaping over to the other side of the wooden log used as a table and sending Rina a smirk.
Her eyes flashed. "Ryo..."
"Rin." he mocked, smirking and holding up the bag.
"Geez, you're infuriating!" she swore she was going to murder him. By the gods she swore it! He was really VERY lucky that she'd dropped her stick.
He grinned at her and she launched herself at him, claws reaching out to snag the jerky from his hands. he laughed and jumped away. "Ryo, you're a jerk!" she snarled, leaping again.
"I know." he smiled.
"Shut up!"
Ruka laughed as Rina began chasing him around the camp, fist raised and screaming dangerous threats at him that had no affect at all.
"Ka, come and help me!!" her twin called.
"Sorry, I'm a pacifist, I don't do conflict." she called back, smiling amusedly. If she didn't know any better, she'd say Ryosis was a fox!
"Like hell you don't, get your butt over here!" he tried to get Ruka on his side. She only laughed. Just another day in the eventful lives of her and her siblings....
"Ruka, get my stick!!"
