Transformation - Eagle ((there isnt much point in only the lower half of the character being an eagle; so I was wondering if instead of being able to transform only half into an eagle, if, since its a small creature, the character could transform into the whole bird. If not allowed, then I'll have to remake a new character, as this is kinda the theme for him - which doesnt bother me, just letting you know.))

Personality -
Teren is an eager learner and has a peaceful heart. He takes after his ancestors, and praises the earth around him. Teren is a spiritual being, always relating himself to the wind, streaming gracefully off a cloud. He is an explorer at heart, so it only makes sense that he has great people skills. Afterall, he meets so many different variations of locals all around the land. Teren can be a little aggressive, when he needs to be - being a traveler has made him cautious of what he needs to be cautious of.
Weapons -
Teren has not much need for any formal weapons.
Equipment -
Teren makes a living traveling and trading spices. Thus, he must always have a bag dedicated to such. Along with that bag, he carries a backpack with all of his personal belongings in it; including, but not limited to: a rollout bed, candles, cookware, and a deck of old cards from his hometown. Since he is always walking, Teren brings with him a hiking stick to help.
History -
Teren was born in a small town in a valley located between the two largest mountain ranges in the area. His parents raised him with good intentions. It took many years for them to even realize that Teren had any abilities as a changling. Since he is only able to transform into a small bird, they never noticed when he was one. After being taught at a monastery to control his transformation power perfectly, by a man so in tune with his surroundings, Teren left his hometown at the age of 17 to explore the world around him.
Because of his exploitative nature, Teren's parents knew that day was coming. With his ability to disguise himself as an eagle, and that power controled, Teren could blend in with any humanoid comunity. While on the road to the south, he met many kinds of people, picking up the trade skills he has from them. After years of moving around he met up with his teacher from the monastery while in a community dining area in a changling village.

"Is that my old student I see over there?" Afton exlaimed, peering at a table in the corner at the outside facility.
Teren, after had just finished his meal, looked around for the one who called his name. He saw an old friend staring at him from accross the road. "Afton! Come along now, sit with me. We need to catch up."
Losing track of time, not having anywhere important to go, they talked for hours. Teren learned that his friend had come to this village to meet with other monks. He shared what he has learned about the land around the region, along with giving a gift to Afton, of a rare spice he had been planing on sending back home eventually.
The afternoon turned night, as the two stood and stretched their legs. "I see locals started their daily fire of the elders," Afton pointed out, noticing the smoke pillowing across town. "How long are you planning on staying?"
"I have an apointment with a fellow tradesman tommorow in Kintal, many miles away from here." Teren began to gather his things, "It has been a wonderous time seeing you again, teacher, but I'm afraid I must actually take my leave now."
Afton understood, being a finatic about keeping a schedule, he gratiously extended his hand for a parting shake, "Then until we meet again, young one. I will be sure to share these spices with the others at home, thank you for your gift."
After accepting the hand shake, along with saying his final good-byes, Teren left - headed north for his meeting.
Anything Else -
If ya don't like the whole bird idea, not a problem, as i said. I'll keep the history and RP sample the same, changing what is needed (since those took the most thought). Then redo everything else (the easy stuff).

Appearance -
| Teren has a dark brown hair color that flows to his shoulders. He often has it braided so that it doesnt get is his way while traveling around the land. Teren's eyes are a light blue; when someone stares into them, they swear they see the sky. His skin is a very pale color and he stands 6ft, 2in tall while weighing 165lbs. He doesn't realy look like a certain ethnicity. He looks like himself, and that is all. He speaks, with a peacefull, mellow tone allowing the nature around him to be his echo. Every great while, while exploring the land Teren is able to transform himself into an eagle. All of his feathers are brown except for a strip of them running down his back, which are white. |  |
