History -
Vincent was a child when his spirit was merged with that of the winds. From then on, he has always attempted to keep it quietly unnoticed, not wishing to be run out of his home or to be hunter down for being different. As he grew older, he got over this phase a little, and started to learn how to work with what he was given. Things like dealing with cold weather come easily to him, along with a little bit of magecraft that allows him to move the wind to his advantage and talk to animals of the sky. He keeps his status as a Natura Filii hidden from everyone, passing as human, even to his adoptive mother.

In retrospect, when he is looking down the barrel of weapons he himself had commissioned aimed at him with a cool and critical eye, this likely was not the best idea he had ever had.
It had only been a little more than two weeks, or so he had thought - Time certianly flew when one was leading the Wilders on a wild goosechase for their 'Mother'. But now that he was here again, Annani feels as iep further into the city, with each step that brings him closer to the building he had created as a haven and headquarters.
Two weeks, he reflects. If Elena had not of disappeared before him, he would of worried her sick. His own sudden disappearance, without knowing brings troubled thoughts to the forefront of his mind as well. At the least, he has faith in his skills enough to be certain that The security procedures would go offline, unless they were transfered to one of the two people he trusted to keep them in line.
What he is not expecting, not in the least, is to set off alarms as soon as he steps onto the property. The signal is one for high alert, he realizes with sudden drawn posture, even as the man reaches for the watch that should be in his pocket to deactivate it. What he doesn't know is that his codes no longer worked for it, put in place by the very person he had thought he followed back to Earth.
Well, Annani thinks, a grim but amused smirk crossing his face as his other hand reaches inside of his jacket, pulling out his gun, the sirens bellowing in the otherwise quiet city. At least they had reacted exactly how he had intended them to in the first place.
