Winter Wandering

[Nix]

*plot - it's the middle of winter and all the prey is going missing and the older people can't work out why and will do nothing to fix it, we have left our clans to try and find a way to fix it ourselves*

Nix sat by the edge of the mountain pool and kicked her legs in the water, to anyone else it would have been bitterly cold seeing as it was the middle of winter and edges of the pool had frozen up but not for her. She smiled and then pulled off her jerkin and dropped it beside her pack behind her and bent down to begin untying her outer leggings so she could go for a swim in the mountain water

[Yuan]

The red haired woman sat beside the pool splashing her feet in the cold water. Yuan thought she was crazy as the water was freezing. He watched as she started to take her clothes of. Was she seriously going to go swimming, or did she plan on taking suicide? Yuan didn’t fancy cold food and if the food took suicide he would never get to eat her nightmare which was a problem since she was the only possible food around.
Fenris walked up to him and eyed the small fox that sat beside her. Yuan smiled and pet her between her ears. “My dear, if you want to eat something, go eat a fish, but do it later.” She growled low and turned her head from him.
“As if I would eat something like that thin kid!” she said, head high, “I just thought it was irresponsible to keep it along here is she is going to kill herself.” She swept her tail behind her making a group of snowflakes dance behind her. Yuan smiled and walked towards the girl. As he was close enough to grab her hand if she decided to jump he called out to her.
“Are you going for a swim? This time of the year?” He smiled politely at her.

[moonlit]

Vale was miserable. He was cold, covered in snow, and the fire he'd spent a half hour making had just went out. "Dang it. I knew I should have taken the other path and went to the lowlands. Theres not even anything up here to make it worth the trip. He rubbed his paws together, huddled in a cave, the outside hidden by vines." He looked down as his stomach growled and sighed. Time to go out into the cold again for food. It took him a few minutes but he found a rabbit hole under a tree. Unsheathing his claws he started to dig into it so he could get far enough down to reach one and after about 2 minutes of digging the branch above him got to heavy with snow, letting its load drop on him and recover the hole with even more snow. Vale shook the snow off him and looked at the hole ".....i'd cry right now if I didn't think my tears would freeze my eyes." He shivered again and tried to remember something, it seemed like on the way up here he'd saw some water. His ears perked up. And where there was water there was fish. Or better yet, maybe someone else would be there with directions on how to get out of this place! He started back to where he thought it'd been, cursing and hating the snow and the mountains more with every cold step.

[Nix]

Nix shook her head as she heard a voice and then looked over her sholder and spotted a boy, he looked to be about the same age she as was and she could see a wolf at his side and she heard ghost growl beside her and she looked down at her brother and raised an eyebrow and he looked at her and then he lowered his nose and looked at the other boy but kept quiet this time. Nix stood up slowly and then paused and closed her hands up in to fists and held them behind her back and then dipped her head and rolled her eyes ,"and why should you care?" she muttered as ghost began to growl again beside her

[Yuan]

Yuan raised an eyebrow in surprise. Nice girl, he thought. He raised his hands to show he didn’t carry any weapon of some sort. The fox which he now saw was a wolf started to growl at him and he bent down to look the angry beast in the eyes. Its eyes where green like an emerald forest.
“I care since these waters are dangerous and it would be a waste if you died here all alone.” He reached out his hand at the small wolf and tried to pet its head. The wolf seemed like it wanted to chopped at his hand so he pulled it back. “Oh sorry you got you fox to protect you, do you have a name young one?” He asked the wolf.
Fenris came up beside him and watched the small beast of her own race. She was a lot bigger than the angry one and she looked down at it with no amusement whatsoever. Yuan looked up at the girl with red hair and smiled again. “Relax; I’m not going to eat you, dear. Do you have a name?” he doubt she would answer so instead he told her, “My name’s Yuan and this beautiful wolf here is my beloved Fenris.”

[Nix]

Nix narrowed her eyes and ghost snapped at the boys hand ,"my brother is no fox" nix snarled and she felt her clawed fingertips cut in to her hands and she narrowed her eyes ,"my brother is a timber wolf and is now 7 years old, he's no runt and he's won me a fair few fights in the past and seeing as a I grew up beside him it would be slot safer for you if you didn't go insulting him" she snarled and ghost echoed her at her side and nix took a step back. She was only wearing a deer hide shirt and her thin outer leggings so her current plan would work very well ,ghost took a step towards the other boy and snapped at him, "if I were you I'd leave now if I still wanted all my limbs" nix hissed

[Yuan]

The girl sure was watchful and on her guard. Yuan rose from the ground and brushed the snow from his knees. The other wolf was chopping at him and he took a step back to show he wasn’t dangerous. The girl looked really angry and started babbling about her brother which Yuan supposed was the wolf. Beside Fenris he looked like nothing but a child. The grey-haired boy looked up and saw the girl take a step back at the water behind her.
He followed the pools edges and looked up at the sky. The other wolf keep growling at him, Fenris didn’t lift a pawn to help him so Yuan looked at the redhaired girl again. He scratched his head with his right hand and tried to read the girls mind, which of course failed. Yuan sighted. “Look,” he began “Nothing is going to get better if you kill yourself, you know. And if you did where would the fox, no sorry, the wolf, go? Don’t ye think he would be lonely all alone?” he raised his hand at her but stayed where he was. “Can’t you come back here? I’ll not hurt you; I just don’t think suicide isn’t the answer…” he looked at her, right into her eyes. “Please.”

[moonlit]

Vale finally arrived at the pool and kneeled down at the edge. His eyes searching the water intently for fish. He saw a flicker of movement and licked his lips. There were plenty of fish here. He started to raise his paw to catch one, flicking his claws out again, when his ears twitched and he heard something. Looking up he saw a what appeared to be 2 people and 2 wolves. No one had appeared to notice him yet though so he went back to watching the fish, trying to find the biggest.

[Nix]

Nix narrowed her eyes again and growled herself ,her sharp teeth gleaming in the sunlight and her claws digging so tightly in to her hands that blood began to drip down her wrists ,"freezing water makes no difference to me ,I'm a water Changling, water of any types bares no treat to me" she said with a snarl. "and thanks much, my brother is the biggest if his kind, we know, we had a wolven meet only a few moons back now" she said and then closed her eyes and gave a dark sneer and the clicked her trounce and left herself tip backwards into the mountain pool with a large splash

[Nix]

*don't worry, it's just a thig that bugged me, ghost is meant to be the big and powerful wolf who was born a runt and then grew up along side nix so became more powerful than any of the other wolves they grew up with and so he became the strongest of his kind*

Nix felt the water hit her in the chest and she felt the air in her lungs disappear ,she tipped her head back and curled her hands into fists and felt the claws dig in to her hand again but time risk a burning heat ran through her legs, she gritted her teeth in pain and felt the heat run down to her feet and then it was gone in moments. She opened her eyes and then smiled as she felt the water run over her skin and she took a breath and took in the water and then laughed and spat it out again and then flicked her long and slender tail and felt the power of it send her shooting up through the water

[Yuan]

“W-wait!” Yuan reached out his hand as if to stop her but as the other wolf looked like it was going to chop his hand right off he pulled it back and backed a few steps. He didn’t like the look of those sharp teeth. Yuan kicked the snow at his feet and sat down on a stone by the pool. He bit his finger as he was thinking.
Fenris turned to the other wolf and spoke softly to him in the wolfs tongue. “I’m sorry for his reaction, he means no harm really. He is actually a good guy.” She walked past the other wolf looking down at the pools water. She saw no sign of the redhaired girl. “Are you not worried about her?” Fenris looked at the timber wolf and then at the blue water covered in ice. Yuan’s’ voice reached her ears.
“Could you ask that wolf about why they are here? I doubt it wanna speak with me.” She sighted and turned to the other wolf, thinking that her ‘beloved’ needed to treat the other wolf with more respect. At least not calling him an ‘it’. “What Yuan want to know is if your presences here have anything to do with the disappearing of most of the food in these areas around here.”
As the wolfs were speaking Yuan walked down the shore to leave them alone since he was not wished for. He heard splashing and saw a person down the shore of the pool. The person had catlike features and was very feline like in its movement. Apparently he, as Yuan could see as he got closer, was busy with fishing. Yuan sat down on a fallen tree and watched the feline. He didn’t want to disturb the hunter. Not when he was hunting at least.

[Nix]

Ghost flicked his ears and listened to the other female wolf talk to him and then narrowed his eyes And watched the human but not and demon but not demon boy walk away from them, "my sister will be fine, she grew up beside me from the time I was born and then when we left the pack when I was 18 moons old she helped me learn the other things that the two legs do that make them more powerful" he said in a clipped voice as he looked the female over ,"besides, she grew up in a wolf pack from the age of 5 days, she was the kne who hunted for us when none of us could leave the dens because of the cubs, she grew up with her tail too. She'll be fine in water, if anything she'll come out better, the cuts on her hands from her claws will heal while she's swimming" he said and sat down on the snow coated grass

*if your doing human/master and wolf talk in the same lost could you make one bold or in a different colour so people can tell which it which, als also I'm sorry, the iPod was being bad and not doing as I told to too....*

*How old would you say your character is Yuan? Mines 14 and yours looked young so i wasn't sure.*

Vales claws slashed down toward the water and when he pulled it back hooked on them was a fish a little larger than his hand. He smiled and put it in his mouth, his sharp teeth easily cutting it into two pieces and swallowing it. Then his ears twitched and he turned. There was another boy who looked to be around his age, maybe older, watching him. He looked him over critically, seeing how much of a threat the boy was. He looked normal but Vale felt there was something....strange about him. "Who're you?"

[Yuan]

*Since he is an Abaddon I’m not sure actually ^^; he doesn’t look older than 16 thou, so let’s say 16 *

Yuan watched as the feline caught a fish. It was fascinating seeing how easily the claws and teeth made the process short with the once living creature. Yuan put his chin in his hand and waited for the boy to notice him. As the other boy did so and after he had looked Yuan up and down, probably judging wherever he was a threat or not. The feline didn’t drop his guard but asked him who he was. Yuan rose from the fallen tree and walked up to the other boy.
“My names’ Yuan.” He reached out his hand toward the other boy and smiled as nice as he could. “I’m sorry to but in like this but I had some questions to ask, do you mind if we make a fire? It’s quite cold here.”

Fenris listened to the male wolf speak and his voice told her he was sure of his sisters abilities. “Interesting, I’ve never meet a water type changeling before, does she have a lot of healing abilities, seeing how water is said to be the source of life?” she asked as she eyed her master walking away from her, kicking some snow as he walked. She turned her big eyes at the big wolf and eyed him up and down. “You are avoiding my question, cousin, is it because my choice of master? Does it bother you?” She laid down too and felt the cold from the snowy grass. She heard her beloved speak with another person down the shore and hoped he wouldn’t get in to trouble by picking a fight with another person.

*Really? Whats your native language? I haven't noticed many mistakes though and the ones you do make are easy to understand. =)*

Vale looked at the boys hand but didn't make any move to shake it. Even if his senses were wrong and there was nothing strange about the other boy he would till be a human by his appearance and Vale didn't like humans. He did seem to be genuine though and looked cold, maybe it wouldn't hurt to invite him to his shelter. At least then he could keep an eye on him. He said cautiously "It would be impossible to light a fire out here, we can go back to the cave im staying in, I might can make one there."
