Powers - Her arms can change into great wings, and she grows a large tail of feathers (Feather colour: brown with white tips), her feet change into talons and her eyesight becomes keen as that of a bird of prey.
Clan/Tribe - Air Tribe
Appearance - Remonyn has wavy brown hair, hazel eyes, she is of average height, is slim, fair skinned and pretty. She has a spiral tattoo on her stomach, which she usually conceals with her clothing.
Personality - Friendly, graceful, loves nature. She is an excellent hunter, a master at stealth and archery. She can also talk to birds and wolves. Remonyn is slow to trust, owing to a dreadful betrayal by a close friend in the past. She is a bit more carefree in her half-animal form than in her human form.
Weapons - Bow and quiverful of arrows, slate knife.
Other equipment - Medicine and food pouch, water skin.
History - 17 years ago, her mother’s clan was moving camp and unknowingly settled near a half-human tribe. Remonyn’s mother and half-human father met during a hunting expedition, they immediately fell in love and began secretly arranging meetings. These meetings lasted for two moons, then one night, Remonyn’s father stole into her mother’s clan and sought her out to mate in secret. Remonyn’s mother became pregnant with her, but then the time came to move camp again, and she and her mate were forced to separate. Remonyn’s half-human father tried to follow, but was found and driven away by her mother’s human clan.
Remonyn was born into her mother’s clan, and was thought to be normal just like any other newborn. She lived with this human clan for her entire childhood, her only knowledge of her father’s race coming from stories her mother told her.
Then, during her twelfth birthnight, she had a great row with her mother about having grown up and not wanting to have her fussing over everything anymore. She moved out of her mother’s shelter to live with her friend. It was that night that she experienced her first transformation. During sleep, she unknowingly transformed into her half-bird form, and was discovered when her friend came in to sleep late. Shocked and frightened, the friend ran out and reported it to the Mage. Afraid that Remonyn might be one possessed with a Demon, the Mage ordered the clan to beat and torture Remonyn, and would have killed her off if not for her mother’s pleas for her life to be spared.
In the end the clan outcasted her, and the Mage put a spiral tattoo on her stomach, to mark her and to stop her from coming back. Remonyn ran away and was found by members of the Air Tribe, they took her in and she has been living with them ever since. For four years Remonyn hasn’t seen her mother, and she misses her very much.
Animal companion - Fern the female grey wolf. Remonyn met her during a hunting trip before she was made outcast, they quickly bonded and Fern became her loyal companion. Fern has grey fur with white markings, and emerald green eyes.

Remonyn ran through the forest with Fern at breakneck speed, tears streaming down her face and flying out behind her. Fern, being a wolf, soon sped ahead, and Remonyn heard her bark telling her to move faster. Remonyn tried to make an answer, but in truth, her legs were about to give after running so long a distance. She heard her clan coming up and closing in behind, leaving her no choice. She spread out her arms and watched as they turned into wings, then she took to the air.
Arrows whizzed through the air as Remonyn beat her wings, desperately trying to propel herself forward as fast as she could. She heard shouts from below and bows twanging as more arrows flew her way, she swerved this way and that, only narrowly avoiding some of them as she soared on. Fern was leaping through the trees below her, thank the World Spirit her clan's people knew nothing of her.
Remonyn saw one of the hunters let fly and turned sharply, the arrow missed, flying past her ear. She let herself breathe a sigh of relief. In the exact moment, a piercing pain shot through her left wing. She cried out as she was hit, the pain was overwhelming, instantly she lost her balance and started tumbling out of control. She frantically flapped her wings regardless of the pain, she mustn’t fall, if she did it would be the end of her.
She managed to steady herself, the arrow was agonising her entire body, but even then she pushed herself onwards. Her wound was bleeding even as she flew, and every wing beat was becoming more painful and difficult than the last.
She was beginning to feel faint from the loss of blood, it wasn’t long before her sight began to blur. She fought to stay conscious and managed to make out a lake in the distance. She used all her effort and forced herself towards it, and crashed into the water.
