Lets see, you wanted a mage to scar it his/her self or it get there by magecraft? Either way, we get a scar and have to go up to the mountains and on the way there we gain powers, but we also have powers. On the way there we meet new people(optional, just whatever you want to do) And we have to get up there to the mountains. The mage plans to kill us and use our powers for their own and dominate all. So this work? We can edit it, just whatever you want to do..
